Re: Battery conditioner fitment

Good price!

Good to know some positive real experience too. I often look at the kit in Aldi/Lidl and wonder if it's worth it.

Re: Battery conditioner fitment

Here's another fitment, this time using the std. M6 eylet lead provided with the CTEK charger. There's a small 'cut out' in the boot trim to clear the wheel chocs. I found the CTEK socket sits in this gap without falling through and didn't foul the boot floor when in place (I have the spare wheel op...

Re: Keyless start

To be honest, for the price of a couple of CR2032s I'd just change them. As long as you avoid the overpriced single blister packs in the supermarkets they'll cost peanuts. Takes 30s to change.

Re: Non Pro navigation

I would like the zoom to return to my setting after a junction as I like to zoom out to see more of the route when I'm on a long journey. As it is I have to turn zoom off. Other times I use the 'far' setting but there's not a lot in it.

I also use the flat display, not 3d.

Re: Correct TPMS sensors?

They look like the right ones. Part number matches the ones I got from eBay seller "jag-land-uk" last year for a similar price. No problems fitting them and they 'just worked', no errors or warnings.

Re: Red tyre dots

I can honestly say I've never seen a fitter line up the dots with anything when I've had new tyres and never had a problem. As long as they're balanced properly it shouldn't make a difference. The TPMS valves are going to weigh more than any difference in the tyre...

Re: words fail me!

Yes, good post Paul.

I bought a CTEC charger last autumn. I've used it once so far with success. I'll probably just connect up the supplied lead and leave it under the boot floor and pull it out when I need it.
