Re: First oil service and adblue etc.

Jeff, Unless they have changed the service intervals, they are 2 yearly or every 21k miles for the 180D. Re adblue, the MY20 does 500 miles per litre and again unless they have changed tank capacity which from memory is 16 litres on the 180D, just buy 10 litres, (approx 2.4 gallons) from Halfords, S...

That's a shame.
We had quite a few US members from 2015 onwards when they were lucky enough to get the V6 AWD.
Never did it in RHD for the UK though.
But, SUV's are where the money is now....................unfortunately.

Bloody awful things!!

Re: cost of servicing

I know there was a Service Compliance Notification JLRP00119 and the recommended oil was changed mid 2018, but I am not sure if this is relevant. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/attachments/xk-xkr-x150-33/217747d1552425862-xk-5-0-na-oil-filter-change-diy-jlrp00119-engine-oil-specification.pdf No...

Re: OEM Brake Discs

Just wondering if anyone has replaced discs with non jag ones and pads with genuine jag pads? This would surely cut down on the dust problem? That was my thought too when I need to replace. I had to get new rear discs and pads for my previous 180D. I used Brembo and 12 months later the discs were a...

Re: What toys does my XE have?

Hmmm, Just tried mine which was definitely there a couple of weeks ago but now when you press print, it just lists basic features. The Minor Features heading is still there but the useful bit, the actual list has gone. Might just be a glitch. Doesn't seem to be any any point in removing all that info.

Re: cost of servicing

My 30T AWD car was registered in February 2018. Looking on the Jaguar site using my reg, it shows 2 options for service contracts. One option is XE_2_Petrol_Automatic_4WD for £1662-83 with services 2, 3 and 4 listed at 2 yearly intervals up to 84k and 8 years and the other is XE_2_Petrol_Automatic_A...

Re: Dash Cam Fitting

Glad it all went well Steve. As you say, it really is a very easy job to do if you're careful and ok with a bit of DIY, the hardest part is drilling a hole in the bracket. :) :)

Re: Hello and opinions/suggestions wanted

As other have said, you will always get horror stories if you go looking on a forum, but I can only say, the early MY16 180D I bought at 11 months old and have recently sold was very reliable, the only problems I ever had were a fautly heated windscreen and like a lot of others, the air con condense...

Re: InControl renewal

It just depends if you think it’s worth it. I didn’t. Had the tracker on my previous XE but insurance companies were just not interested so when my subscription ran out I didn’t bother to renew it.
