Re: Finding a rare spec.

I've taken a compromise on colour to get the right spec and I'm happy with the result! Trouble is, dynamically, the XE is so good that an Evoque is going to be a tall and compromised SUV by comparison.

Re: Got one!

I've always been a fan of the stealth approach. I once followed a V10 M5 with absolutely no M badging, a mate had a Skoda Octavia VRS running close to 500bhp, boot badge read 1.4mpi, another mate has a Skoda Yeti, looks stock, runs carbon fibre doors, bonnet, tailgate, seats, caged, 720bhp on the ri...

Re: How to repair scratches on glove box

I've used a dashboard and trim restore pad. Basically a spongy pad soaked in a silicone dressing material. Works brilliantly on most colour trims! Picked it up in Halfrauds from memory.

Re: Got one!

Did you end up with the Corris Grey one you asked for the history check on? In what I sent you under vehicle info it stated: "Transmission: 8-Speed Automatic 2WD" And under factory spec it stated: "Rear Wheel Drive" Remove the badge!! That's the one and I'm well aware that it's RWD, but I like a bi...

Re: Got one!

Hmmm, something I didn't notice before buying. One of the following is true: I have a very rare spec UK all wheel drive S. I have a pair of front drive shafts missing. Some knob stuck an AWD badge on the back of my car before I owned it. Answers on a postcard to... In other news, it would appear tha...

Re: Turn the Boards Off

Remember, the limit is advisory, but it may be in place for something intermittent (reported livestock near carriageway for example) or perhaps debris. On the other hand, they do often leave the signs on for no reason.

The limit in a red circle will be mandatory.

Re: Jaguar Route Planner App - Can't find my car

Just tried out the route planner app, which appears to be very broken. The Jaguar. Here site works very well though, so best to just bookmark that and set routes in a browser.

Green Flag. Cheaper premiums, better service, in my experience.

Re: Hello from the isle of Man

I'll be looking to bring mine over for a cruise around later in the year when the tourist speed limits are removed! Love driving on the island.
