Re: £1500 Deposit Contribution

I got the same deal. I only financed a small part of the price, and paid it off after three months. My wife's now buying a Skoda Citigo, and has been offered the same sort of deal. I find it hard to understand how it can be profitable for the finance company. Maybe someone here can give a simple ex...

Re: Got one!

I've been double locking since collecting it. Charging the battery to 3/4 capacity hasn't woken the S/S up, so that's another job for the dealer. On the plus side, disconnecting the battery did allow the phone to pair properly upon reconnection. The car is frustrating, close to brilliance but attent...

Re: Got one!

Thanks Phil

I'll get it updated when the car goes back to the dealers for a few other tidy ups!

The battery did soak up a lot of current though, so charge state must have been low.

Re: Got one!

Hi Phil I've made sure the phone and car are appropriately set, it worked fine to start with and then lost the functionality on the right pair. Regards voltages, I'd expect an AGM battery to run around 12.8V measured open circuit and fully charged. Keeping one at around 75% could shorten it's life c...

Re: Got one!

Measuring the resting battery voltage this morning give 12.53V which seems low for an AGM, so I've booked it up to the smart charger for a boost. It's sucking quite a bit of current! Possible charging or current drain fault or degraded battery are my first thoughts.

Re: Wheels

The key information for aftermarket wheels will be: Stud pattern (number of bolts, PCD) Centre bore Offset Size (rim diameter and width) With this information, you should be easily able to search for aftermarket wheels. The only proviso is that although the correct set of numbers will ensure the whe...

Re: Got one!

So... Very impressed with the way it drives, the more I drive it, the more I like it! However, a couple of flies have landed in the ointment. A driver's door seal hanging off the bottom of the door is annoying. The tech is starting to grate too. Paired the phone, seemed to be ok, but message came up...

Got one!

So today I picked up a nice one year old S. Corris Grey looks good, no squeaks or rattles. A couple of things need attention, dealer is happy to sort those. No S/S mind! I'll put it on my AGM charger and see if it resolves the issue, otherwise it's warranty work. It's been a lot of years since I las...

Re: Best MPG You've Had?

34.9 Billericay to Chelmsford. Worst mpg so far, less than half that "testing" it around the local lanes. I've only had it half a day though.
