Re: Speed Limit Reductions

Being a car enthusiast gets harder by the day. Creeping speed limit reductions are common everywhere these days. Add in legislation reducing the availability of decent engines and the obsession with autonomous / electrification BS, it's enough to consider emigration.

Re: Dragy

Interesting, might have to give Dragy a go. Maybe a silly question, but what's the best way to get a good launch off the line in an automatic? My XE-S is my first auto, stands to reason that holding your left foot on the brake and building the revs before releasing would be the best way to do it, b...

Re: Best MPG You've Had?

Has anyone experience a drop in miles out of a tank? I used to get 400-420 miles from a tank many months ago (last I checked properly was summer). But in the last couple of refills, I've only been managing about 320 miles out of the tank. My commute to work is only about 6 miles each way , I'm usin...

Re: Beware if you are up to no good

Personally, I don't use my own car when going out to murder someone. If the sat nav in the Rangie is as good as the one in the XE, maybe he meant to murder someone else...   Another one to bear in mind is clearing previous destinations in the sat nag. Very handy for upcoming divorce...

Re: Engine coolant

Is the coolant florescent? If so, a UV light will be the easy way to spot leaks.

Re: Updating Pro Here

Here's what I used to convert to FAT32; http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm Thanks Rob. I just plugged the USB stick into a Linux machine and formatted it in there. We've got a few operating systems floating about the place! The intermittent loading of the Incontrol navigation ...

Re: Updating Pro Here

It has been fine regularly until now. The other PITA is the need to use a USB stick that according to Windows Powershell is too big to format to FAT 32.
