I woke up this morning and wondered how the project was going actually!

I think I’m as excited as you👍

Things have been in limbo, our dog was diagnosed with Cancer so the car projects have been on idle.

Re: Project Redrum

They are nice quality and fitment is good. Not 100% perfect but I'm also OCD when it comes to stuff like...

Re: Painting "JAGUAR" side vents.

When I raced bikes (ones without engines) I did all the Campagnolo crests etc in red on all the parts. Fairly straight forward process. Fine artist brush in the area and depending on depth a getle cloth wipe over the side excess. Larger areas fill the indent, leave to dry a couple od hours and with...

Re: Painting "JAGUAR" side vents.

I have done similar to motorbike and car engine covers in the past. It works best with quite runny paint, maybe coach paint or similar. The idea is to apply the paint into the indentations and surrounding area, then whipping the surface of the object quickly sideways to take off any surplus paint f...

Re: Close call!

Nice car 😎 Thanks!! I find the front end of mine a bit too easy to ground. A sharp speed bump or even a relatively low kerb will do it! I know and I still feel like it could be lowered a tad! Nice car yes!! And i see there are 2 cats on the driveway? Not both cutting close i hope? Enjoy Nah, our ki...

Nice car ! I have to say I do like a bit of bling on a car. That's probably why I rebuilt a Mark 2 in the 80s, and also drove a modern Rover 75 for a few years

I don't mind a tad bit of chrome but for me a sports car (sedan) looks sportier without "bling". Cars look meaner and cleaner to me.
