So I've noticed my cam shaft reluctor ring is moiving, giving the P0341 code. Already had new chains/tensioners etc etc, software update and camshaft sensor replaced, but tech has read up that the cam shaft reluctor ring can move, low and behold the one in mine is moveable too. Managed to 'adjust' it so EML doesn't come on, but with engine vibrations it will slip around again. I'm told camshaft will need to be replaced as the reluctor ring cannot be prchased seperatley. I'm wondering if there is a way to hold it in position externally. Has anyone a pic of this reluctr ring and its housing? They're a press fit from what I've read on other posts

i ran into the same Error Code and already tried a few things like replacing Camshift sensor, Batterie, diesel treatment, lower my oil (was filled over the line at last maintenance) and now I would change the timing chain but it´s pretty expensive, hart to reach and i just read about your case. You say the reluctor ring is simple to check but i can´t find a removeable plug like you describe it, do you have a picture or something for me?
I found a few posts in this forum (Post 1, Post 2, Post 3) many of them say it´s the reluctor ring and it would fit my problems.
According to my dealer there are no updates and topix doesnt work right now.
