Dont mean to hijack this, but is it possible to retrofit the clear view mirror from a 2020 XE?
I wouldn't bother, I've got it on mine and it's just a gimmick, if you wear glasses it's all out of focus anyway :geek:

Just curious why it's out of focus if you wear glasses? I wear glasses for distance viewing but can see the dash and infotainment clearly enough.
I too can see the dash and screen clear enough through the lower reading lens of my glasses but when looking at the mirror I am using the upper part of the lens which is for distance viewing and hence all out of focus.
If I tip my head right back and look at the mirror through the lower part of my lens then it is all in focus, but this is not practical in reality.

I don't think it's fair to brand it as a gimmick just because you don't get on with it.
In the XE the rearward vision isn't too bad but it can still give a much wider view and could be beneficial to others that don't have issues with glasses.
If it's fitted and you don't get on with it just flip the switch on it and turn it off.
That is exactly what I have done and I still think it's a gimmick because only people with 20:20 vision are able to use it. Doesn't anyone who tests these things at Jaguar wear glasses?
