Hi, I haven't been able to get Bluetooth working in my XE with Incontrol Touch. Phones can't see the radio, the radio can't detect phones, and JLR isn't reporting any errors. I found information in the manual that a Bluetooth antenna will be installed after removing the control panel, but there's nothing there, nor is there an antenna cable for it. I'm considering replacing the Incontrol Touch with a different unit, but I'm not sure if the upgrade is a one-time purchase or requires reprogramming. Maybe I have a faulty unit, and replacing it will solve the Bluetooth problem.

What year vehicle?

What model phone and what OS?

Do you have IC or ICTP?

Does your vehicle recognize your SIM Card for wireless internet connectivity?

All these things will help us try to diagnose your issue.

Thanks for all the info. Android v10, 13, and 15 do not have the Bluetooth connectivity problem that many have experienced in v8/8.1 and 12 which is not a JLR issue but rather a Google OS issue that was eventually fixed.

As a MY16 IC vehicle, your setup is different than mine (MY19 ICTP) so I don't know if IC has the same Infotainment Control Module (ICM) failure-over-time printed circuit board problem that JLR had acknowledged in my MY19 XE (which you can read about here) that impacted all sorts of connectivity functions.

With the information you have given (MY16, IC, Android v10/13/15, No SIM Card), maybe one of the early XE owners on the Forum may have some thoughts to help.
