It appears Jaguar made a little slip up earlier which has largely gone un-noticed!

In the video below they actually reveal what the Jaguar XE looks like from their infotainment screen.

It seems this picture is now on Twitter. Looks like an XE but from that angle harder to tell and there's no S badge.

Nice find, it looks like it could be. Lower vents, bumper, grill all seem to match up.

Looks like it's taken from a promotional film, similar to what they did for the F-Type.

I've done a little digging, the picture above is a screen grab from this official Jaguar XE video;

Blink and you'll miss it but it's around 10 / 11 seconds in.

I watched that the other day and didn't even see the XE in it at all. Nice spot!
