I have a powered boot which shows as an option (and I didn't pay for it I don't think); can any other Portfolio owners comment as to whether theirs has this as well?

Car is a definite like with chrome grill, congratulations. Have you by any chance ended up with full convenience pack of boot, keyless entry and additional socket?
Was chrome grille a dealer fit and if so are you totally satisfied with fitting (did you get to keep black grille removed)?

With some of the extras people are reporting - like upgraded seats, lumbar packs, carbon vents, and powered boots - maybe they are trying to backfill cars with cancelled / part built orders to try to clear backlog and you could get lucky? (Hoping they accidently leave an XE-S engine in mine....)

'tis not fair tho...if you don't get a freebie that is.
It wouldn't hurt for JLR to give everyone something to celebrate the first year of xe.,no matter how small.

A full quality inspection would be a good start

Free luxury mats or boot liners would of been a nice touch for anyone ordering before production began.

The freebie seats I got I feel were needed for the price of the car anyway 33k I didn't know manual seats were standard until I read it here. I do feel a little bad for those who paid for the upgrade that may of got for free anyway.

I have a 12v in the back as well as in the cubby hole thing. So with Keyless Entry, 12v in the back and Powered Boot, I guess that is the convenience pack. Where should the 12v in the boot be?

I have key operated boot opening but manual closure. The grille came as a factory fit option, not dealer aftermarket fit as I had been originally informed. Just picked it up today (Hooray).

Checked mine as well today was shocked warning triangle and first aid kit not included. Kinda thought every manufacturer provided as standard.

Deployable bonnet was an interesting item lol

"less active vanes"????
Seen it on bm's
Front grill closes to stop cold air entering until temp reached.

Black cab drivers use foil as a cheap alternative in winter
