Quite good overall, although I'm not convinced that it's quite as good as the equivalent offering from Audi as in my last car.
When you start up, you get a little green Jaguar logo - how cool!

Once that goes after a few seconds, it settles down and you get the normal display.

Any down sides? Well, there is a slightly distracting windscreen reflection from the projection unit; but other than that, none. With my old car having the HUD it was so useful to have the speed on screen, I rarely had to look down at the instrument dials: I suspect this will be the same.
