It’s Firenze red. Really nice colour considering I was dead against a red car.

I became the proud owner of a Firenze red petrol XE at the beginning of November 2018- it is a MY19 built to order car.

So I am a bit gutted that just a few months in, Jaguar have made major changes, not just to the front grille, but also to the central in-control specs with dual screen etc, something the high-end Range Rovers etc have, but now standard spec on MY19 Jag XE's.

I don't understand how they can make such major changes for the same Model Year (MY) vehicle. I assumed that if you buy a MY19 car, it will be the same spec until they announce the MY20 vehicle etc.

Just doesn't seem fair to me - these changes must have been in the pipeline at the time I ordered my car (September 2018) but nothing was ever said. I was just pleased that the MY19 had the large screen upgrade as standard!

Any comments from those who know about these things??

The facelift is actually MY20, not MY19. So not the same model year.
