Shopping Spree Factory Add Ons

Post by alanplum241276 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 1:31 pm

So I've been on a hunt for factory addons, and sourced a lot of them, so here is a little gallery of bits I've sourced and fitted. Makes her feel new again :)

New MTEC Discs and EBC Pads. (Not OEM, Painted calipers, Michelin PS4S's which are astounding...)

Illuminated Door Sills (From Australia)

Image

Aluminium Flappy Paddles (From Russia :))

Image

Cup holder cover thingy...from the forum

Image

Jag Fancy Pedals....Didn't photo mine as they are filthy :)

Image

Side shot after a good scrub....

Image

I also added my own spare wheel and boot floor and liner...all sourced from a popular auction site...

It's little things....quite a few quid....but makes it feel good to drive.

Hi Alan

Where did you get your discs and pads from? I will need some very soon and have been looking round for replacements definitely not the standard rusty metal Jaguar seem to supply. Any info would be very useful. Thanks.

How do you rate the EBC pads? I assume they are redstuff?

Yes...redstuff...and I rate them very highly indeed.

I won’t put anything else on.

Thanks For the info Alan. Been having a look round and I think I’ll stick with plain flat discs rather than grooved, dimpled etc and probably go for Brembo or Zimmerman for both discs and pads.
Anyone used them on an XE?

I would be happy to take Alan's suggestions - he seems more than happy with the results, although I can't on mine as I don't own it yet!!!

Can I ask you, how hard was it to fit the paddles. Does there need to be a software update to make them work?
Thanks

Thanks for that. Do you know if it applies to the facelift version as well, and does the cabling come with it?
