As this comes up from time to time I'll post the pic I did a while back for future reference.
It makes it easier rather than trying to describe it!

Brilliant , I have one of those portable chargers , and it has crossed my mind what I would do if I had a flat battery... Thanks buddy

Thanks, so this can be used for charging point or for connecting that extra 12v socket?

Just for jump starting the car.
As regards charging, the manual says the battery should be removed but if you look at the stop start thread there's good advice in there.
You certainly shouldn't run a socket off these points.

Going to lock this one up as it's purely for info when jump starting the car before it morphs into another battery charging thread and there are other threads for that.
