Hi all,
You will now notice there are a couple of adverts now appearing on the site. I have tried to keep it advert free for as long as possible but to help cover the costs of hosting the site, the anti spam software etc. it has become necessary to begin showing these.

I have kept them to a minimum, there should only ever be a single advert at the top of the screen and a single advert towards the bottom.

Thanks
Rob

No problem ... I am used to it on nearly every forum I visit. Thanks for keeping the lights on ;) .

No problem Rob, completely understandable.

As said above I am used to it to a greater/lesser extent,

Ironic that the first advert I saw on this site was for Mini........

Cheers

Just a heads up of a problem if you view the forum on an iPad. When the Ad changes ( possibly the top one ), the page area resizes or something , which causes the page to sort of jump up and down. Seems to be a new thing.. not noticed before

I've turned off my ad-blocker to support the site.

I would happily pay an annual fee to remove ads.

If I remove my ad blocker it jumps up and down all over the place on iPad as OP mentioned.

Better pay for any costs though.

Could there be a ‘donate’ button set up to a paypal account to raise some cash for the running costs? Have it as a form of etiquette that each time this forum solves you a problem or helps out significantly a donation is made? No matter how great or small? I’d happily donate a few quid already - only had my XE 2 weeks but you’ve all been very helpful :)

This could be on the site indefinitely rather than a running campaign.
