Good morning all,
I will give you a brief update since I had an appointment with my dealer yesterday.
They checked the car with obd diagnosis. The problem is some wiring issue from the boot. Everything is working (boot opening from unsigned/outside).
They think about a broken cable which causes a short to ground issue.
I am pretty sure that this is caused by an accident 1,5y ago where the boot was changed.
I will drop the car off on Friday and keep you up to date if you are interested in.
I am also changing to a new model (F Type) in July.

What F Type are you getting? I keep thinking about getting one in the near future, either a V6 or hopefully a V8 while they're still available. I reckon they will become quite collectable in the not-to-distant future.

Re: Remote locking issue
Dear all, surely I will keep you updated.
Since no V6 are available and the V8 is far to expensive I am going with the so called i4 P300.
The car I am getting is quite similar to my XE. Santorini black, black pack tinted windows sunroof black 20” rims - I guess it will look great

Re: Remote locking issue
Just to clarify my previous post, if I do go for a V6 or V8, it will be a used example. I wish I could but there's no way I could afford a new V8 modelFirstgencunarder wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:56 amDear all, surely I will keep you updated.
