DAB not working

Post by Onefurlongout » Fri Jan 26, 2018 4:34 pm

Hi all,

DAB has just stopped working for no apparent reason on my 66 plate. It was working fine last night but not this morning.

I can select DAB but it flicks over to FM. Anyone else experienced this or got an idea how to fix?

Stop start not working again after being in the garage over Christmas to sort.

Disappointed again

Same thing happened on mine overnight Tuesday but I was able to switch back eventually. Not sure if it was a vehicle problem or DAB transmissions themselves.

Might be worth refreshing the station list if you can.

I think its the broadcast that has an issue, I have had this a couple of times recently at home, by the time I have driven to work it has been fine, I think its the nature of DAB, I have a portable DAB radio that rarely works in my house

Still not working.

Anyone know if there is a way to do a system reset?

Will have to put a call into the dealer on Monday.

If you go into DAB there should be a "search" button.
Try that as on my previous ICT it used to search for and reload all the DAB stations and the "sections" (can't remember the proper name) they are grouped in.
Make sure you are in an open area to get the best results.

Hi Phil,

I can’t even get into the DAB menu, it keeps reverting to the FM setting. Which suggests a bigger problem than just picking up a signal

If it's any consolation mine has reverted to FM. I am sure it is caused by broadcasters updating channels.

Possibly Vespa, but surely it would still let me into the function just not play any channels?

Once in a while there are DAB channel updates and some stations might need to be added back by a search but if you can't get into DAB at all then I think there may be a software or aerial issue.
