I always unpair, delete from both car and phone and then re pair the phone and car after an update.

That generally works.

Is there any news of a fix for this yet, or an update for android coming out soon? The developer mode sadly didn't work.

Thanks

I was looking for answers to this and apparently it is a massive problem worldwide with many people affected. Look on Samsungs website and see what is being said about the S9 model.

Not sure if this will help but here are the versions of both my Jag software and android (v9).

Bluetooth works perfectly for music, phone etc. No cutouts or dropping of connection. The android update I only applied on Wednesday last. The Jag software is on my new MY19 XE.

Thanks, I'll have a look at my current software version, and the Samsung website.

In non techie language, don't worry about it.
At some stage in the future, Jaguar will be able to send software updates over the air to the cars.
It isn't happening at the moment and software updates are only to fix problems anyway.
So "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

On the phone only,go to settings, then system, about device, software updates, check auto updates is enabled. On the car forget it as only the top range Infotainment system has an update facility that I happened to stumble across yesterday. Phils advice is best for the car.
