Blown Speaker

Post by ThatBloke » Sat Jul 06, 2019 9:06 am

Morning People

Recently bought myself a Jaguar with the Meridian 380w sound system,
When liistening to Talksport certain tones of voice would make the door speaker right next to me rasp unless i turn the sub and Bass right down therefore making it "Tinny"

Now when playing music its not so dominant until certain instruments are played or obviously a heavy bass.

So im guessing this is a Blown speaker :(

Should I go to Jaguar and get it replaced with the original assuming the speaker was manufactured by Meridian or go purchase something elsewhere?

I believe you have a 17 plate so will still be in warranty? So the dealer would be the no cost option to get it fixed for free.
