This or you can use command prompt and "format DRIVELETTER: /FS:FAT32
Yes - MS Windows apparently knows best and will not allow formatting to FAT32 - only exFAT or NTFS. I've no idea why MS decided to 'outlaw' FAT32. I've found that several of the "Partition Magic" type softwares will allow formatting to FAT32. I've used Mini Tool Partition Wizard (free download from https://www.partitionwizard.com) successfully.

Just to avoid any confusion this is the scenario for larger memory sticks of 64GB and above if they come formatted with Ex-FAT 32.
Standard 32GB sticks can still be formatted to FAT32 in Windows.
Insert stick then right click on the relevant drive and select "format".

Presumably you are out of warranty?
Pro system map updates are free for the warranty period.
That's interesting PhilB. I have until May next year before the warranty expires, but I don't have the Touch Pro system, I only have the basic Touch. Do you know if this system is also covered for free map updates? If so do you know how I achieve it?

Ah, in that case your updates will be done with an SD card and the website where you put your card in the slot on a PC/Laptop.
Unfortunately they have never been free.
