Remote locking issue

Dear forum,
Today I realized that my car is not folding the mirrors and the siren is beeping twice.
Do I need to see the dealer or will it disappear somehow by itself?
Is it an malfunction? I know this behavior if one door is open for example.
Any advice is highly appreciated

Something may not be locking correctly (usually the bonnet) Have you left a key fob in the car? That will stop it locking. It may also be battery connected ie it needs a charge up. The XE does not like a low charge main battery. The bonnet catches may just not be knocking off the switch in the latches. Drop shut it from about 50cm. Try that and see how it affects it. Also check the boot is closing fully. Mine will sometimes look closed but isn't quite there.

Ok I will have a try. Yesterday everything was fine. I am wondering that the doors and trunk are fully locked

If you have the remote app, can you check locking status on that?

Locking status says open but the car is locked

Try uninstalling the APP and reloading. Failing that try the reset proceedure mentioned in other posts on here.

Thank you for your comment, I deinstalled the app but no change at all. How do I proceed the reset? Where can I find it?
Is this procedure used at the car or in the app?
The app locks the car even if the key is inside.... this behavior is not clear to me.

The reset is a bit of a pain but it sometimes cures things.

My XE completely lost all communication with the JLR servers, and an App uninstall-reinstall made no difference. I fixed it by disconnecting the battery for around 10 minutes and then re-connecting. I think this forces the telecommunications module to re-boot. The only other things this disconnection affects are the electric windows which lose their "one shot" action and need to be reset by powering each one down and holding the switch on for a few seconds and then powering up and doing the same.
I suspect that this battery disconnect is all that Dealerships do when they talk about "resetting" the systems.

I disconnected the battery for around 30 mins but the power windows did not lose their auto close functionality.
I have no clue what it is, I’m pretty sure some sensor is defective or needs to get a restart
