Finding this on EB it seems to be transparent so you may still see the red light?

At the Jag drive days they say that it beats at the rate of a Jaguar's heart, not a human's

Yup it lights up, still beats - the red backing piece is transparent and has a clouded translucent piece behind it to give an even glow. Even lights up the bar around it which is cool. It’s not as vivid/bright as the lettering was previously but I much prefer it!

Oh and also - when you press it the outer stays put, and just the chrome Jaguar Growler presses in with the satisfying click of the button.

For info - where did you source the exhaust parts?

The exhaust was all done while I waited (1 hour) at Powerflow Exhausts in Slough. I just told them to delete the rear mufflers and add the tips I wanted (picked out of a selection they had).

Figured if it was OTT I’d just leave my car there and get them to fabricate some back boxes for the extra cost. But it’s not too OTT, for me. For most it’s probably a bit loud.

If you just want a burble and some sound when you have a spirited drive, go for the back box fabrication.
