Hi Everyone , Really nice to see my O.P. has not totally died & given the massive number of reads of same it seems to be hitting one of the most frequently read posts on this forum ! NOW < Given the amount of interest shown surely JAGUAR are paying some attention to this easily fixed but most annoying problem! ! ! ! That said they have already addressed the same annoyance on the very successful XF. C"mon JAGUAR show us you care because we as owners of this fantastic car feel that for coppers this could be easily rectified at source . Rant over , now down to you ! ! ! Colin.

I did both Front and Rear doors and am so glad I did. It has definitely kept all the dirt out of the door shuts.
All the seals are holding firm and showing no signs of coming loose.

Have you noticed if the car is quieter inside, less intrusive road noise?

Domfow, I can't say I have noticed a difference but I never really noticed it before unless I am driving without the radio/music playing, of the little wind noise I do notice it is more around the window areas.

I don't think it's made any difference to the wind or road noise but it's cut down the water and dirt infiltration by about 90% so it was well worth doing.

Just an update. I ordered the P shape seal from China via Ebay and got 2 packs. Ordered on 22 Feb 18 and delivered today 17/3/18 for a grand sum of £9.84 for both packs. They are labled 3M. When it warms up a bit outside I will fit them.
