I think we might be getting a bit confused here, or it could be just me! :)

Original topic was about the frameless style but we seem to have drifted on to the clearsight mirror.
The original topic was about a version of the frameless mirror for sale on E-Bay and the link has been posted.
Not much more to say on that really ?
This is still about mirrors.
Smoke and mirrors probably.

Does anyone know if the rear view mirrors from other
JLR vehicles, will fit or if it is specifically the XE one that is needed for this retrofit? OP - was yours specifically an XE one?

I am assuming we'll need the XE part to fit the XE but you never know if they've shared parts across the range!

are absolutely the same in XE, XF, F-pace... and few Land Rover
only one is important to do this upgrade - part number HPLA-17E678-AA

check ebay > https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... A&_sacat=0

make offer? maybe 40? get luck :)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-RANG ... SwwlJd5tye

...all with this part number are OK to XE, it`s with dimming and it`s plug&play

AlexCccccc

pull left and right (see pic) and next pull down, thats all

PhilB

yes, have sensor & dimming like old, plug and play

Borat1987

impossible
...and 2020 is not frameless :D
When you say "pull left and right", do you mean holding on to the entire plastic cap and pushing it left and right or do you yank the right and left sides separately before pulling it down? I've got the frameless mirror like you recommended and I can't take the plastic cover off :(
