Sorry, yes the 'Plus', its a further development of the 'Cross Climate', I'm really impressed no loss of mpg over the Continentals but certainly a vast improvement in grip.

It's good to read all these good endorsements of the Cross Climate as that's what I plan to change to when my OE tyres get a bit more worn.

What sizes are your tyres? I can't find Cross Climates that fit both from and rears.

I'm on 205/55R17 Y 95 all round, standard size on Portfolio 2.0d (163ps).

Use Blackcircles website, they allow you to mix front and rear sizes and Cross Climate appear, you have to go to bottom of results page

Oponeo are selling CrossClimate + 225/50/17 98 V XL for £138 with free delivery. They do 18" as well.

Are there any XE R-Sport 180 auto drivers who use all season tyres, if so what do you use?

I have 225/45/18 on the front so could fit Cross Climates and 245/40/18 on the rear so could fit Goodyear Eagle LS2 but I can't find a recommended brand that will do both sizes.

Is there an issue if I use the Cross Climates on Front and Eagle's on the rear?

In slippery conditions you’ll have more grip at the front than the rear, which is not a good idea in a rear drive car. What’s with the odd size tyres on the R-sport anyway... why not just fit the same size all round (225/45/18) as on the Portfolio?

The best rated tyre going by the likes of Auto Express thats available in both sizes are the Nokian Weatherproof which came 3rd in their tests of all seasons tyres.
A set of 4 (2 of each size) is around £660 fitted

Allegedly, Michelin will be releasing more sizes this year so hopefully they will fill the gap for the different front/rear sizes.
