J Tyres

Do we really need them. I know they have the rim protector but is that the only difference ?

Are you talking about the "Jaguar" OEM tyres that have it printed on the tyre wall?
Current: XE S 380, Storm grey Pics Black venoms/black pack, 18 ways, BSM, 40/20/40, ICTPro 380, parking pack, spare wheel.
Previous: 2015 XE S 340, British Racing Green.

People assume it would invalidate warranties etc if they don't use the "Jaguar" oem marked tyres.
It's complete nonsense and in the manual it says that replacement tyres should be the same size, speed and load rating as the original tyres.

You can fit any make you wish provided the above criteria apply.
The rim protector is down to the tyre manufacturer.
Some have them some don't.

Pretty much what I thought

I’ve got a good price for oem from F1 auto centre I’ll see if my dealer will match
