All good, until it comes to relying on humans. It's a fact of life, all systems degrade and people will always get away with whatever they can get away with. Even all the ones that are properly removed, some will be lost or missing or put in the wrong envelope and then arguments as to whether it is the dealer or JLR who has lost them. People won't keep chasing them and won't be bothered when they are missing because it's probably something other than they're still on the car in most cases so the importance is lost.

Well I have been out and taken them off myself, took less than 5 minutes with a trolley jack.

Will be interesting to see the difference in handling now, although I had not pushed the car hard I have done 500 miles and been through Milton Keynes a couple of times enjoying 'S' mode and the roundabouts.

The supplying dealer was of course very apologetic over the phone after seeing the photo of their mistake.

To stop system degradation, you write a Service Level Agreement with serious financial penalties for failure to comply, amazing the near 100% return you'll get.
