Got our new car

I like the look of the car and had one as a courtesy car last year. What I did notice about the drive, was that because you are perched higher the car seemed to jiggle from side to side, which I found tiring and uncomfortable and was pleased to get back into the XE. It'll be interesting to hear if you experience the same with your new E Pace. Having said that, I would still consider one myself as it is easier to get in and out of and it is a more practical car, but I would need a long test drive first.

Not noticed this at all on both country roads or motorways.
In fact I've found it to be very stable with minimal roll in corners. Just feels planted.
Practicality was key for us.

Thanks for the feedback JiggyJag. When the time arrives to change the XE, I will certainly give the E Pace another try.

Got 1000 miles on the clock and engine freeing up / bedding in nicely.
Heard a squeal from engine yesterday when starting. Sounded like a slipping belt, had been stood for a few days in typical Welsh damp conditions.
No warning lights and disappeared with slight revving.
Will see if it happens again, may just need a re-tension somewhere.
Otherwise all going well and enjoying.

A thousand miles in a fortnight? I'm jealous!

I've just about managed a thousand miles in mine since the beginning of October, and 750 of those were before Halloween...

Still, there are tiny signs of light at the end of the tunnel - my mum and dad have their first Covid jabs next week

I'm not really expecting to get out as normal until the summer, though.

I've been up and down the M4 each weekend just to put some miles on.
Really enjoying the drive to be fair. I was a bit worried coming from the XE but the E-Pace is a very good drive.
Will see what she's like off the mark when bedded in a bit more!
World be nice to get out and socialise but the measures are necessary for now.

I can beat that Sir, 915 miles in 2.5 months in the F type, ,due to higher tier levels, and 'North Wales' shutdown, I'm boxed in and very little routes to play on.
Good news for your Mum and Dad, getting the jabs, as you say light at the end of the tunnel.

I've only put 2100 miles on mine since collecting on March 4th - it did spend 10 weeks of this time at the dealership getting the faulty propshaft replaced though, and then this damn Covid has stopped me getting out as well

Ah well, there's always next year
