That is something I have never added up with my seats. I thought I had 10 way but going out and fiddling with the buttons I must have 18 way as nearly everything is adjustable. That is probably why neither my wife or I have any back problems when out on long journeys. :D

These are the "full monty" electric seats.
They describe them as 18 way but I think we totalled them up once and only got to 16.
We think they count the manual headrest movement for the extra 2 which is a fib really.
(The lumbar counts as 2, up and down and in and out)

Yep that is what I have and have altered to suit but never really bothered with how many movements it had as Topix says 10.

I think you have another topix error as my first had 10 way seats and I had the above minus the first 3 bits.

I have all those alterations in my seats and from the first week of getting the car and setting it up have not touched them again until reading this. I have 2 memory settings and one is when I have my inbuilt backache playing up which gives slightly more adjustment to the back of the seat and the steering wheel. That is usually at the end of the day when I get kernackered.

I had a good? experience with the Topix list as it did not show configurable dynamics, but found the 2016 XE had got it. It did say it had adaptive dynamics but don't think that it's the same thing. Really glad I got an R-sport as is much more fun for me than a Portfolio which I was originally looking for. Because of the options I wanted, only the R-sport had them at the right price.

As far as I'm aware, Adaptive Dynamics is an option that requires Configurable Dynamics.

It works really well on my Portfolio - switch the suspension to comfort, and everything else to dynamic, until SWMBO nods off, then play! :D

And being a powertrain debadged Portfolio, I don't get -quite- so many boy racers trying it on...

The ones who pick stupid places I let get on with it, so that I'm as far away from their accidents as possible, but some of the more sensible ones get a surprise - they don't really expect a bearded old codger in a grandad-spec baby Jaag to do 0-60 in sub-six seconds

You need adaptive dynamics (electronic dampers) first otherwise the suspension isn't adjustable.
Then you can individually configure the other criteria (gearbox, throttle and steering) if you have configurable dynamics.
On the S, adaptive dynamics were standard and later models had configurable dynamics as standard when it was introduced.

Slightly separate note..how would I know if I had the Meriden speakers ? Is there a logo on the speakers or something ?

Yes. The main speakers in both front doors are clearly marked.
