new here on XE forums

Post by nivaOne » Fri Jan 11, 2019 3:50 pm

Hi,

Just wanted to say hallo. I've got an XE 2.0D since early 2016.
Very happy with it except for some minor issues. All doors have suffered from door rattling and required attention by the dealer.
Not to forget the satnav... but for the rest I'm a very happy Jaguar owner.

Looking forward to 400 miles plus next week in my XE. Still very impressed. Going to the Bentley factory for a bit of a drool over some Continental GTs. Some of their employees are uber enthusiastic about their W12 engine...

A lovely engine, and you can see one stripped down at the Anson Museum at Poynton, gifted by Bentley Motors. A very unusual engine with 4 banks of three cylinders, but only one cylinder head. It is also something of a gas-guzzler, but I suppose if you can afford the car, you can afford the petrol
