Bought my first ever Jag yesterday and couldn't be happier.
Couldn't afford a new one but found a 2015 XE R-Sport 2.0i 25t for a good price and after 30 seconds of the test drive new I wanted to buy it.
Only had 1 previous owner who bought nearly £4k worth of options. Drives like an absolute dream! Have moved from a Peugeot 308SW so having to get used to quite how fast it is! Also have never owned an automatic before but so far am really happy I have moved from manual.
Aha Corris Grey, my favourite colour. The only tip I can give is expect to do much more driving now - they are addictive!!!!! Hope you enjoy the experience. There is nothing quite like a Jag imho.
looking good, tips for new owners like me, beware sore neck from looking back at your lovely car when you park it, and sore face from smiling when you admire it........
Tips over a 308,
Roundabouts - automatic, always in the right gear to cruise around them
Commute/motorway cruise - just chill in luxury no stress/need to change gear - its all just about road position and smooth cruising
A/B roads, helpful if slightly uphill with curves - just smile and sweep down them...
Paddle - double downshift useful instead of dropping into 3rd on a downhill stretch/slow without sitting on the brakes.
Automatic is just a different attitude - no rushing to change gear, just about road position and speed selection.

Brilliant colour! And looking at myself, first time Jag owner also, you can get cramp from a continuous smile on your face.
Enjoy en welcome.
