Hi from Leicestershire

Post by bjblyth » Sun May 26, 2019 7:08 pm

Hi all,

Just purchased a 2017 Jaguar XE R-Sport (2.0 Diesel) from an 'Approved Used' dealer in the Lake District. Due to take delivery at work on Thursday, so very much looking forward to the drive home!

I've gone for the 2.0 diesel 180 engine with the 8-speed auto. Car is Santorini Black (Jet leather interior) with plenty of extras including the following;

- Parking Pack
- Heated front windscreen & washer jets
- Front & rear cameras
- 18" alloys
- Privacy glass
- Euro Sat Nav
- Meridian Sound System
- Driver memory pack w/power fold mirrors (& all mirrors auto-dimming)

I've come from a 2018 Mini Cooper as previously only drove for fun, now I work 175 miles away from home once a week so needed something much more sensible for my business side of life!

Looking forward to getting behind the wheel. Have done a bit of reading on here, looks a very informative forum :)

Without a doubt a fantastic drivier's car, so compliant on motorway driving. Also without doubt considerably frustrating at times. Do look on the bright side and enjoy it for what it is.

Enjoy your new car - should make the 175 miles more enjoyable and comfortable.

Congrats! I wish I could enjoy 175 miles, especially with the lovely Meridian sound system!
