hello from Watford UK

Post by Angie K » Wed Jun 05, 2019 7:32 am

Only had my XE S Sport 250 a few months so still getting used to it. Previously had ford focus's for last 20 years so a bit of a learning curve. Car will be fitted with front sensors next week. I am only 5ft 3 and have no idea where the bonnet ends! My car only has rear sensors, no cameras. Find it strange that rear sensors are fitted but no front ones but that's Jaguar for you. Find the forum so helpful, am always on it looking at questions and answers.
Happy driving to everyone. Hope I don't have to deal with JLR for anything which should be covered under warranty!! Some of the posts sound absolutely horrendous. Also I did buy my jag from Grange Hatfield. Re post about the fluid for diesels oh dear. I feel for the owner of this car.

Welcome Angie and I'm sure the new car will be far more joyous than the Focus or is that Foci?
Yes there are problems but generally all surmountable, just make sure you find and sort them during the warranty period. Said it before, it's encouraging to see a fair number of high milers amongst us which I've always taken as a good omen.
XE Portfolio as a daily driver and Z4 because I still can!

Welcome aboard!

Regarding the problems, bear in mind that not everyone has them, but human nature makes it much easier to report problems than the lack of them.

Before I got my XE, I'd been driving Cavaliers, Vectras and an Insignia over the last 30 years, so the XE was a very pleasant change
