New Member - New Car

Post by laser558 » Sun May 03, 2020 11:35 am

Hello All

After many years of MG ownership (V6 & V8) I decided to buy something more "modern" and different to all the German makes.

So, I have taken delivery, just before the lockdown, of my first Jaguar and attach a few pictures - spec as follows:-

XE P250 HSE in Silicon Silver with Ecru interior
Extras:- Sliding sunroof, black pack, cold weather pack, heated seats

So far could not be happier with the car - fit and finish is excellent and fuel cosumption around 35mpg on motorway.

If it turns out as reliabe as my cherished MGs I'll be a very happy man.

Welcome aboard, that's a very nice motor!

Be careful when the lockdown ends - you'll have a sore jaw from grinning too much

Nice car and a good choice after your MG's. Did you have the ZT by any chance or the B's with the big engines? I had the Rover 45 V6 with the auto box. Fantastic car with exactly 80000 on the clock when I traded it in. It was the Rover version of the MG. I wanted a ZT V8 but the stupid dealer at the time (in Wigan) couldn't be bothered getting it ready for me when I took my 45 V6 for service after specifically asking for it as the loan for the morning. Sale lost there I'm afraid.

If I decided to replace my XE, the new one would be just like yours. Needless to say I like it.
