Hi PusserH, great feedback cheers, I'm so tempted with the V6 the more I hear things like that,PusserH wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 10:54 amHi Scriv, I bought a 3.0S 380bhp (Jun 18 model) last September, really pleased with it as it's been faultless and a joy to drive. 1st Jag so can't compare with other versions. My fuel consumption is around mid 20's mpg on short journeys and mid to high 30's on long journeys. In Eco and Drive mode it will drive like any other saloon I've had. Floor it and/or select banzai mode and it goes like a rocket, fuel consumption drops accordingly. That said, fuel economy wasn't my main consideration when I bought the car.
I just found a fairly local Jag specialist and asked him the same questions from his experience of servicing and repairing etc, he said the below
Ecoboost - Very reliable and a great buy but starting to show it's age compared to the latest stuff
Ingenium - Also very reliable (in petrol form) and a step forward on the Ecoboost regarding smoothness and efficiency, he'd definitely recommend for the 4 pot
V6 - The best one for fun and build, he says they are bulletproof and if I can afford it go for that
Looks like a V6 it is then
