Lost in a maze of part numbers

Post by jc_150 » Wed Jun 23, 2021 5:16 pm

Hi all in the forum
I have a Jaguar XE 2.0 ltr diesel Auto 2017, and I have managed to shear the plastic retaining clips from the nearside outer sill. Jaguar tell me they do not sell them separately, but can find some online. There seem to be many diffrerent types. Does anyone know the part numbers or equivalent that will fit my vehicle, Happy to purchase both the ones with the screw holes which go underneath, but I mainly need the ones that fit facing the vehicle side. I cannot see them well enough to get a photo. Thanks in advance of any information
Regards
JohnC

Hi Again
In the picture it is the long sill outside which runs along the bottom of the car for the full length. It has clips at the top of the sill and also under the car.
Thanks

EPC shows that there are not separate clips etc in long sills for sale.

I have found connectors from local parts store, most of are same for eg opel (vauhxhall), ford etc..

You definitely can get the clips separate i have gotten them from parts before as a guy once managed to rip off his sideskirt, the ones you need are the ones with the widest slot as there is another which look the same but are a bit thinner and dont fit into the grooves in the plastic sill sideskirt
