brake discs

Hi everyone has anybody replaced there rear brake discs on a 180 r-sport with non Jaguar parts and where did you get them.

well the Jaguar product has only lasted about 14000mls I would rather try something else to see if they are any better

You could try MTEC, they make discs for the XE but I haven't tried them myself.

Only 14,000?! That can't be right. I've just had mine done after 45,000 as they were getting near to the minimum. Jaguar parts were stupidly priced (~£800 for the parts), went with some after market brand (can't remember off the top of my head and it's not on the invoice) via a local garage for £370 (discs & pads all round, plus wear indicators) plus labour - they stop much better than the originals, but do produce more dust.

my rear discs are pitted wear is ok I think I will try my local guy
