:?: :?: I cannot see the reports other than a list. Not sure Jag actually do that well in these owners surveys.

From 2015 to present, the number of faults repoerted on here have dropped dramatically. It appears that the vast number of early niggles have been sorted and I for one, still havea 2015 car. All the niggles have been sorted and the only one that is still evident at times is the S/S and even that has improved to working quite a lot of the time now. Being stuck in the home quite a lot because of my wife's illness's, I look at this site several times a day and have noted that many queries now are about functions on the car rather than problems. I know some still have the odd problem but these are much less now.

Makes no sense whatsoever to me.... Jag second most reliable manufacturer despite not having a single vehicle in the the top 75 individual cars & Peugeot one of the least reliable manufacturers despite having the number one individual car and several others in the top 75???

Owners surveys take them with a pinch of salt. Dacia most reliable one year worst cars the next yet share all components with Renault.

No car has bad reliability the difference is negligable. I buy a car on looks comfort and overall enjoyment of driving. It is why I have an XE. No problems with it so far and 100% reliable!!
Or should I buya Kia Niro because Auto express say they are the best car ever..........I think not. They only had 18k responses across every make & model. JLR alone sold over 600,000 cars during 2017.

Take no notice of Auto Express as I have several times bought from their "best buy" listing only to find I could have got better with items lower in the list.

I think nowadays all cars are pretty good in all respects and certainly far, far superior to years gone by. The faults tend to me minor rather than major and whilst annoying at the time I sense some people forget what is being expected of their/any vehicle.

Some years ago I bought an Alfa 156 against everyone’s advice and it proved to be one of the best cars I ever owned. Whereas the VW Passat that replaced it suffered repeatedly from fuel pump failure and actually proved to be the least reliable car I ever owned. Who'd have thought it
Point is if I had believed all that was said about the Alfa I could have missed out on a goodly number of trouble free years of very enjoyable motoring.
