What Are These For?

I’m Intrigued by the two “cutouts” in the dots and black stuff at the base of the windscreen. Can’t see any good reason for them unless they’re for something I haven’t got.

It's where the operative on the production line has rested his lolly pop by the looks of it. :D

I think they're probably tooling alignment elements for fitting / replacing the screen.
