Is the 30 t affected??
The 300hp jobby?
Don't think so.
I seem to recall a chat on here that when it was introduced (spring 2018 as in MY19 ?) that all petrols had PPF's (Petrol Particulate filters) fitted from the factory around that time.
This whole saga is beginning to remind me of the "Millenium Bug".
Suddenly.........................................nothing happened.
:D
The 30t MY 2018 is affected. The engine was introduced in June 2017 in the XE (mine for example) and I've had the H185 recall notice.
White R Sport 30t AWD MY 2018. A bit scary tbh!!

You need to read my second post where I clarified it was MY19 onwards........
I was probably thinking about the 300 sport which was introduced in the spring of 2018 instead of the S.

Hi,

since the H185 update 2 month ago I had already the 4th unscheduled maintenance stops in the workshop, two times due to the emission control system, where the warning light lighted up. Have you any information about an update from the H185 update?

regards

I believe the service department applied the H185 fix to my car as S/S has pretty much worked all the time (along with improved MPG!!), and the update has introduced a nice new feature... some extra jolting!!

Come to think about this, it might be due to them applying an update to fix the slight jolting I've had for a while (for the manoeuvres mentioned below), but let me mention the jolts for ya...

So the jolts are more noticeable when slowing down with the brake applied, then having to apply the accelerator pedal whilst the car is still rolling (maybe 5-10 MPH). Good example of this is when you approach traffic lights (or a T-junction) and you're slowing down (using your brakes), only for the lights to go green and you're just about to accelerate. Its at the point whereby I'm gently pressing the accelerator and the car will jolt.

Rather unpleasant, especially with passengers...
The service department have advised it's the clutch going through the learning process again since the update, and should sort itself out sooner or later... I'd have thought after 800 miles it'd be better...

I'm fairly certain it's not a knock on effect from the H185 fix, but has anyone else come across this since the fix?!

I think they may be fobbing you off as there's no clutch. Gearbox learning, maybe.

Mine can occasionally do what you're describing though.
