Overall I like the MY20 version. Only in R-dynamic HSE trim though. The normal seats do show how the old 18ways are superior but the HSE Sport 16ways seats are “luverly”.
It’s a shame they’ve removed the trim finishing strip that underlined the windscreen curve. Also I don’t like the Black Pack front grille, it’s gloss! When the rest of the front grilles are still Matt!
I’m seriously tempted to order one for March 20 though.
2017 XE R-Sport, 2.0D (180) AWD, Firenze Red, Pimento/Ebony 18way seats, 19” Style 5071 Silver sparkle, Cold Pack, Meridian, Panoramic roof, It is Ex JLR management. Doing 20k miles p/a.
Other car is 1984 Ur quattro.

Ours was being built a couple of weeks ago. But then it has to wait for shipping, and get here, so it is a few months away. I tracked the ship when our last one was on its way, it is quite interesting especially the Panama Canal part. Very keen to see how it goes, I've never driven the 300hp before, though I was taken for a hot lap in an F Type with one.

Picking this up on Friday I hope
I take it that is the "new" Portofino blue?
I hope the handover went well ?
If so some pictures would be great as all we have seen is the Jaguar press shots so a real one would be nice.

As I've just dropped mine off at the Main Dealer I took a quick peek at the Face-lift. There are some minor detail changes outside and in, and I think I like the new gear 'handle'. I always thought the rotary one a (big) bit gimmicy. The outside changes I could take, or leave.

dont need heated seats in our 35 celsius summers! I had cooled seats in the XKR but I have to say that air blowing on the back of my thighs was not a pleasant sensation.

The seats in the pictures look different, but it might be just reflection.

Maybe not in Queensland, but they’re very handy during winter in Melbourne. :)

And this Portofino Blue, is it just a new name for Loire Blue or is it really a new colour?
