Dear Readers, always read the small print and not just "wing it". Rolled up to the breakfast meet with a smile on my mug. Got your ticket sir. No,you need to book online, but I only want to park outside and take in the sights,I dont want entrance to the museum today. Sorry sir, no ticket, no entry, rules is rules !. All hail to the covic restrictions. My bad. Any one else make the same mistake?.Derek Mitchell. XE 240 Sport,Bluefire,a few bits ect.

The event on the 12th had nobody on the gate and anyone could just breeze straight in. Unfortunately today they had their act together.

Good to put faces to names today. Excellent turn out and a nice wander round the museum in the afternoon. Need to get a breakfast in next time I think!

It was very well organised today. Well done to the motor museum. Particularly liked the bacon and egg bap with table service, it was our first proper meal out since lockdown 😂.

Great to see some of you from here, there today, time passed so quick, and nice to put faces to names (i'll probably forget them again by the next one),

over 3 hours to get home due to 2 incidents on the M42 and M6,

jbc there and back 010820.jpg

Efficiency and average speed dropped due to the stop start.

Blimey, 41.1mpg on the way back! Cruise mostly set at 7x on the M40 and 70 on the M25. Something of a record for me.

My first Jaguar meet today and trip to the museum and thoroughly enjoyed. Great to catch up with many forum members and take a look at their impressive motors! A great turnout. Coffee, bacon sarnie and hit 60mpg on the way down what’s not to like. Lots of fun in Stratford-upon-Avon this afternoon, bit of shut eye tonight and journey back to the good old NW tomorrow fuelled by a B&B full English. I’ll certainly be back in the future and up for NW meets should there be interest. Here’s a few pictures of the XEs in attendance today and owners please let me know if you don’t want them posted up 👍🏻

A great turn out of XE's yesterday, I wasn't in mine as I had a lift for the first time since coming to JBC.
We should plan a collective meet up there one time next year and see how many XE's we can get, Peter has already said he will be happy to make an XE special so we can collectively park together.

Good to meet some of you yesterday. My car also enjoyed the run as the stop-start is working again today for the first time in several weeks. An XE special edition for a future Breakfast Club meet is a great idea. We might take a leaf out of Ian0304's book and combine another visit to Gaydon with a weekend in Stratford.
