Hi vespa, sorry this is off topic but i was wondering how you got stop start working again. Mine has stopped working and would be super happy to have it working again as it is my only niggle. 2015 2.0d r sport 160. Kind regards
Initially charging the 80 Ah battery regularly but after a few days that failed. I also had a solar charger connected for a while but that didn't solve it either. Eventually I decided that the 80 Ah battery could not hold enough base charge and that dipped below the 80% threshold needed as it had possibly deteriorated over the 6 months or so at the dealers awaiting sale. They do also charge all their cars regularly if not used, by the way. I took the decision to change the battery for a 90Ah version (Jaguar supplied) and asked them to fit it. There have been some updates to the cars over the past 6 months or so (H149) which addresses emissions and "possibly" S/S kick in point. I had to wait around 2 hours whilst the battery was changed but at that time the mod H149, was not in the public domain so I don't know if that was applied. All I can say is that it has worked everytime within the parameters required since it was fitted.

Best would be 72mpg over 24 miles when stuck behind a wide load at 48-50 mph.

I must admit my best was stuck in slowish traffic in road works practically the whole length of the M62. It just shows how much that slowing down saves fuel.

At only 3000 miles it's still tight. Try again when it's done 10000.

Based on car's computer or actual consumption? Also cooler weather drops economy too.

Using the App, 62mpg on a 150 mile leg up the M6 at an average of 62. Usually mid fifties which isn't bad for a twin-turbo diesel. Can squeeze 600 miles out of a tank! :D
Currently a Caesium Blue 30T Portfolio :D
Previously a Corris grey 25D R-sport.

Based on actual consumption. Even the computer doesn't show much better. I will wait and see what it's like in another 5,000 miles or so. Certainly, the gearbox doesn't seem to be dropping so many gears just because I pressed the throttle a bit, and is a little less prone to going down the box at the slightest hint.

Our best drive was to Port Patrick then to Fort William and quite a bit of running about before filling up at Morrisons in Fort William for the journey back home to Warrington. A few years back I would have filled up about 3 times just to get to Fort William. (The avatar of me is in Fort William on the Jacobite)
