Dragy

Post by AndyS » Sun Mar 01, 2020 4:41 pm

I'm not sure how many people have heard of dragy but in short is a GPS performance recorder much cheaper than vbox competitors, it can measure timings within a thousandth of a sec of a professional drag strip.

Anyway I bought one to play around with and I managed to get 0-60 mph in 4.85 in the dry (jag claim 5.1 for the RWD 340 PS). I was expecting slower than jags claims as you would assume the would publish their best time for marketing

Has anybody else got one?

Edit: of course not done on a public road

Pretty good result, My S should get up there in 4.8 but I have the 380PS... I guess it could even be a bit quicker than that! I have just put Michelin PS4S's tyres on mine and it definitely feels grippier which could make it better off the mark than the Pirelli's.

I've got Michelin PS4S all round too, definitely feels better for launches too, less wheelspin and more of a kick in the back than the dunlops I had before

I'd be really interested to see what the AWD 380 can do, I'm sure that should be able to get sub 4.5 especially on michelins

You would have to ask one of our American cousins as they got AWD V6 S versions from day one.

That’s because they don’t know how to drive over there ;)
