Good for you. I think there are better ones out there and for the same price newer ones. Just be patient and keep looking.

Good luck in your search.

I'd suggest doing some research on what options are available (a lot!) and what's important to you. For instance, there are at least 3 different sound systems - 80w 6 speaker, 380w 11 speaker & 825w 17 speaker!
Currently a Caesium Blue 30T Portfolio :D
Previously a Corris grey 25D R-sport.

Couldn't agee more and getting familiar with a cars specifications before you buy will pay dividends once you've bought it. Nothing worse than living without a feature that you thought ought or should have been standard.
XE Portfolio now replaced by an XF R Sport and a Z4 garage queen!

Absolutely, if I'd done more research I would have a portfolio with added folding rear seat option.
The seat in my Prestige just isn't comfortable, my X Type Sovereign was far comfier on long journeys.
Probably would have looked for the screen with no buttons at side as well as Jaguar have stopped updating the earlier one. Although I must say for my needs the screen works ok, DAB or USB stick with 160 albums on, I'm not really sure I need all these new fangled things like spotify etc.
2016 Jaguar XE Prestige 20T in Bluefire.
Parking pack fitted but not used.

Did have two X Types, a 2.5L then a 2.2L Auto with the dreaded DPF. No more DPF's for me.

Definitely do a lot of research, drive a few cars, talk to other owners.

Definitely don't do what I have just done and buy the first one you see without knowing anything about them. Does seem to have worked though :D

I know what's wrong, and if I could find it, I'd fix it.

I got everything I wanted on mine except HUD, which I can do without. I looked at 4 cars then inc an XF. I wanted a panoramic roof, which I got. I have had it open once in 5 years. The one good thing about it though, is that my roof lining trim is black and with the inside screen pulled back it brightens the interior. The full black interior was the Mmmmm do I want this when I was buying it but in the end it was the best car with my spec almost 100%
