The long wait

I've had an itch for a Jag for many years and this year will be the year I give that itch a good scratch. I was about to go to one of the "roadshow" events to look at the new XE and possibly order a R-Dynamic S P250 with some extra bits, (wheels, paint and technology pack) but lockdown has put the carbosh on that.

Assuming I can order in December / Jan, what do you think the actual delivery date would be?

Thanks for the info Bill, so effectively I'll be expecting April or later for delivery-
Ouch, that is a long wait, at least it will be a 21 plate

Put my deposit down in October so I’m in the long wait too for my first Jag... in theory end of Jan ‘21 but I think that’s being optimistic. Can’t wait to see it though

While posting the last message, my dealer came back with a delivery date of mid December so hopefully it’ll be a proper merry Christmas!

A happy Christmas indeed. Sounds like yours will be one of the first produced. My dealer called me last week to confirm my early Feb build date and that mine will be in the second batch they receive (he said their first deliveries will be the end of January).

I'm very interested to know more about how they've implemented Pivi Pro in the XE, so do let us all know!

My dealer says mine will be ready January 22nd. I've asked to wait a few more weeks til 1st March for the 21 plate.

Looks like the 21MY demo cars are starting to arrive at dealers.

There is an R-Dynamic Black at Marshalls in Oxford. As we know the changes are small, but Pivi Pro looks good.

That's an S spec, dials on the dash and no lower touch screen. I went for the S but added those on

Liking the blacked out leaper, is that on all black packs now or just this 'black' model?.. which is red! My build photos have it as black so hoping so.
