My guess is that 1/43 would make it about 4.5" long, a bit small for much detail. Or roughly £10 an inch!!!

Picked up a genuine Jaguar model when I was at JLR Classic Works for the June Breakfast Club meet. Only £25, perhaps they were flogging off old stock?. Anyway, matches my wheels, which I think were std. on the S if you didn't spec the Propellers.

Has anyone found a larger model, preferably 1/18th? I have an X-type and would like to add to the stable. A Googly search has only thrown up a lot of spurious rubbish and not what I'm looking for.
There are a few X-Types on the IXO (who make the genuine Jaguar XE) site, don't give the scale/size though...

I have the X in 1:18. I wanted an XE in 1:18 to park beside it. I suppose a 1:43 X-Type and XE would be a compromise. It would take up about the same space.

Here are several Jaguar models in various scales, aimed mainly at model railway scaling. https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/siteresults.aspx?searchfield=jaguar%20cars
