That is the spirit Vespa - I see that neither of you have lost your sense of humour. Lovely cat by the way - I do love cats, either 4 wheeled or 4 legged. :D

Spent a couple hours washing and then polishing my car.
Looks amazing, do you find these cars to be dirt/dust magnets? Maybe the paint/lacquer that is used on them? I bought a blue 2015 XE recently and have washed it a good few times with the lockdown, but it seems to get very dirty very quickly.

Maybe just due to my neighbour having had a skip on his driveway recently, it’s been taken now so after the next wash I’ll have to see if it stays clean for longer!
To be honest, no more than most other cars really. It has been pretty dry recently and my wife drives it every day along country lanes, where there is now a lot of dry mud. So the car was a lot dustier than usual. Before anybody asks why she is out and about during the lock-down. She has horses which are stabled a few miles way. They need feeding and mucking out every day.

LEDs in footwell replaced (took a lot longer than I should admit too before figuring out that you can turn the interior lights from auto which is why they weren't working!) and vinyl wrap should arrive soon for the plate around the gear shifter. I've also ordered some illumiated tread plates from eBay for a bargain so I've took the old ones off until the new ones arrive!

Where have you ordered the Ebay tread plates from? I have fancied these but think they are a bit expesive from JLR. The daft thing is that you only see them for a few seconds when the door opens. Just one of those silly bits I like too.

I got them from this seller on eBay, from looking at his shop he is a breaker of various parts but the ones that I got were listed as being out of a new vehicle with no damage so I took the plunge as they were cheaper than I've seen others!

Hoping that they arrive on Tuesday as I've took the old ones out and prepped the connector ready for the new ones :D

Thanks. I had another phone consultation with the GP and a stronger antibiotic prescribed. In his words " This acts like a dose of Domestos" I just hope that the 1% of germs that Domestos doesn't kill isn't the one causing this.
