Anyone else find this website a pain to navigate on a phone?

Post by XE123 » Sun May 17, 2020 7:35 am

Hi everyone.

Does anyone else find this website difficult to navigate on a phone? Nothing to do with the layout as such, it's just that I find that the adverts are the last thing to load by quite a significant time. This then causes the page to suddenly jump down half a screen meaning you constantly end up clicking on a different link or thread etc.

Is it just me that gets this issue?

On my Iphone an ad will appear at the bottom and sometimes between posts but doesn't cause any delays. Can you download an adblocker?

I only ever use my phone on here. After an initial 1-2 seconds of page loading all good

Yes, I find the same problem when using iPhone. The ads also sometimes interfere with the quick links drop down, covering some of the options. It’s a minor inconvenience and I generally use iPad anyway.

It's a minor inconvenience for a free to use website I think.

Blockbear or similar solves the issue. It does jump around a bit.
